Located in the “Pioneer Camp” section of the campground, these sites are ideal for small campers, pop ups and tent campers. Shared water and bathhouse with individual showers are available. This is a good location for large families, reunions and groups as they are secluded from the rest of the Resort. Direct access to the mountain biking trails.

Mountain bikers have direct access to miles of single-track trails located at the Noquemanon trailhead. Trails range from easy (including kids trails) to expert level black diamond trails. There are miles of shoreline and woods to explore in the Marquette area. Some favorites include Sugarloaf Mountain (8.6 miles from Resort), Presque Isle Park (6.2 miles from Resort) and Hogback Mountain (9.2 miles from Resort). Snowshoe rentals and maps available in the main office.

With miles of pristine shoreline to explore, you'll never get tired of the view from the water. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore offers guided kayak tours, located 45 minutes from Marquette. The Carp River located at the campground is recommended for expert kayakers only as there can be large rapids and expert terrain. Helmets and other protective equipment is also recommended.
